So happy for you and your family! As a mother of four who's just had her second oldest be the first to move out last Thursday, and his older sister will quickly follow in August, I can't possibly wrap my mind around where 20 years has gone. They're still babies, aren't they? So with that in mind, (even though I love doing calligraphy with you!) I say, never mind us, pay attention to them, 'cause before you know it, they're gone. When you need us, we'll be here, get to us when you can. Maybe kids art?;)

You really saved me with this tutorial! I didn't realize that Father's Day was coming up today until you mentioned it in your weekly newsletter you sent two days ago. And, I always struggle coming up with how to decorate a card for a man. This seems like it'll solve both problems. It really does look like it's so simple, easy, and quick to make. And, it looks so nice and simple and great for a card for a guy. Thanks for this tutorial! I'm going to go make it right now. I know. Father's Day is nearly over now. But, my dad is watching a movie right now. So, maybe, I'll be able to get this done before he goes to bed. If not, I'll just have it made tonight and give it to him tomorrow.

Will this work with a pen also?

QUESTION: I have a regular calligraphy ink pen with an ink cartridge using a 2.4 nib, not a brush pen. I see the strokes produce a different thick and thin effect than your brush pen. Do you have videos using an ink cartridge calligraphy pen with various size nibs?

It was work from home and hope to keep your job then. Maternity leave? Ha! We will continue to watch and enjoy your old videos while you’re on 18 month maternity leave. Seriously, (as an American who had 2 kids) maternity leave in the US is a joke. Keep giving us tips and tricks you learn along the way. Caligraphy, layout, watercolor, florals, new ideas and diy's. I love ALL of it.

This is such a great idea. Sadly, both of our Dad's are gone now, but I love this idea for doing these cards and having a bunch on hand for whatever occasion. Thank you for sharing! ❤

I’ve been doing all my cards with your calligraphy/watercolor ideas and they are HUGE hits- plus it is the personal touch that makes a big difference. I did a birthday card for my father in me and used calligraphy for putting his name in the envelope and the first thing he said was “Did you do this writing?” And he was really impressed when I said yes- I am so happy with those fudenosuke pens!!!

I’d love to see incorporating flower design with calligraphy but having said that, just do what YOU enjoy and we will all love it!

Omg my jaw was on the floor you had one then my TV controller went when you said 0.5 cooking hahahhaa I thought you were settling into married life hahahha and had just abandoned us. Being a parent is a big deal honestly screw the Internet do the mum thing right so we have more amazing humans in the world to counteract the yucky ones. If your so inclined to create though finishing the letter series 😅 and maybe how you make videos and edit them 😊
